Punchy Candle Wrap
This is simply the simplest way to jazz up a Church Candle for
Christmas. All you require is a candle or night light, a couple of inches of
Punchinella and a
simple decoration. It is so simple that even the very young can have fun making them.
Requirements
approx 10" of Punchinella
Christmas Floral decoration
PVA glue
Church Candle or Night Light (tea light)
Method - for church candle
Measure the distance around the candle.
Cut a piece of Punchinella slightly larger than this distance.
Wrap the sheet of paper around the candle then wrap the Punchinella around the paper
wrapped candle.
Place a little glue on one end of the Punchinella, and hold the other end down over
it. Allow the glue to set.
Remove the Punchinella and paper from the candle.
Carefully remove any paper stuck to the Punchinella.
Place a dab of glue on the decoration and fix it to the front of the
Punchinella
cylinder.
When dry place the Punchinella cylinder over the candle.
Method - For Night Light Shade.
Cut approx 10" of Punchinella.
Glue the ends together with a small overlap.
Glue a Christmas Floral etc to the front of the Punchinella cylinder.
when dry place the Shade around a night light.
Important
Never leave candles unattended.
Never allow young children to light candles.
Place the night light on a secure flat heat resistant surface.
Ensure the night light is in the centre of the cylinder to avoid overheating.
