The Ultimate Christmas Bauble
How to make Personalised Christmas Decorations that even Santa will admire. In this project we have used a 10cm Bauble. These snap open Transparent Balls are available in 6cm, 10cm & 16cm sizes, plus an open 12cm bauble.
The Illustration to the right shows the open bauble with the insert disc. The insert disc fits into one half of the ball, then is held in place by the other half once the ball is closed
10cm Transparent Ball & Partition Disc (disc sold separately)
The illustration to the right shows the Winee the Phoo decoupage on one side of the separator disc.
The illustration to the right shows the reverse side of the disc separator.
Spread pva glue across the disc and sprinkle with glitter.
In our bauble we used a course glitter flake.
The illustration to the right shows the effect of the glitter sparkling through giving the decoupage design a snow like background.
Place the separator disc into the lip of one half of the ball, then gently push the other half on to complete. Tie the bauble off using gold or silver cord, allowing enough cord to slip along the tree branch.
If you do not shake off all the excess glitter, but allow a little to remain, this will eventually come off and stick to the side of the bauble with static.
If you wished to place a gift etc in one half of the bauble, try gluing the disc into the lip of the bauble, this would then allow you to open the bauble to remove the gift without the separator falling out.
