Ribbon Lace Christmas Angel

bulletRequirements
bullet13" or (33cm) of ribbon lace.
bullet1 gold/silver chenille stem.12" (30cm)
bullet1 wooden doll head or wooden bead/poly ball or flat wooden friendly faces (best for cards). 1/2" approx (1.5cm)
bulletPVA adhesive.

Ribbon Lace, Chennile Stem, Bead Dolls Head

bulletMethod
bulletLace the chenille stem through each of the holes on the edge of the Ribbon Lace.
bulletBunch the lace together in the middle of the chenille stem.
bulletTwist the stems once to secure.
bulletthread the dolls head bead through one of the chenille stem ends
bulletPlace your finger on the top of the dolls head and wrap the chenille stem around your finger to create the halo.
bullettwist the stem to secure.
bulletMake a hook with the remaining end of the chenille for securing to your Christmas Tree
bulletThe remaining chenille stem end can either cut and removed or used for additional security for attachment to your tree.
bulletFold back the wing ends to give a clean edge, secure the flaps with a dab of PVA glue.

Thread the Ribbon lace with the chenille Stem

Bunch the Lace in the center of the chenille stem. Twist the stems once to secure

Hints and Tips

bulletFor quick results secure the folded back flaps with a little double sided tape or foam pad.
bulletSubstitute the Dolls Head bead with standard bead and make facial markings with a felt pen.
bulletCreate a themed Christmas Tree using 24 angels on a tree lit with plain lights and covered in angel hair.
bulletStick to Angel on a aperture card for an interesting Christmas Card.
