Denim Jean Pocket Shoulder Bag

A quick and simple Holiday Project for the Children with a bit adult supervision and help.

Requirements:

1 pair of old Jeans.

Scissors

Needle & Thread

Small piece of Sticky Backed Velcro

Optional

	Glitter Glue
	Sequins
	Rhinestones
	Iron on Patches etc.

One pair of Old Denim Jeans

What better way to give that Old Favourite Pair of Jeans a New Life while making a Trendy Fashion Statement.

Instructions:

	Select the best Back Pocket.
	Cut out the Pocket, remember to cut outside the pocket to ensure that the back of the pocket remains connected.
	Cut away one seam from the leg of one trouser.
	Stitch the ends to either edge of the Pocket.
	Stick or stitch a little bit of sticky back Velcro inside the pocket at the top, to act as a fastener.
	Decorate the pocket with sequins, rhinestones, glitter glue etc.

Hints & Tips:

To add frills to your pocket:

	Cut about one inch away from the edge of the pocket
	Fray the edges to give that old appearance.

Cut out the seam from one leg. This will make the Shoulder Strap for your bag.
