 | Cut out Humpty dumpty shape, wall and finger sleeve. |
 | Wrap the finger sleeve loosely around the finger or similar sized item such as a pen. |
 | Apply a little glue along the folded over edge, and hold firmly together. |
 | Remove from the finger or pen, attach a paper clip to either end to hold the glued
surfaces together. |
 | Place the finger sleeve aside to dry. |
 | Cut four lengths of pipe cleaner, about 1.5" in length. |
 | Cut a length of felt 2" long and 1/4" wide. |
 | Cut a contrasting piece of felt 1/2" x 3/8". |
 | with an eyelet ounch or paper punch. Punch out a small circle of funky foam. |
 | On wall piece of card. draw lines to make a wall effect, and colour in the wall. |
 | Lay the body shape on a flat surface. |
 | Place the eyes and nose and felt belt on the card. |
 | Move the items around until a happy looking face is made. |
 | Using a felt pen, draw on a smiling mouth. |
 | lift the eyes and apply a dab of glue. Replace and hold down for a moment to dry. |
 | Repeat this procedure for the nose. |
 | Apply glue to the back of the felt belt and apply to the card. |
 | Apply a dab of glue to the belt buckle and apply to the belt. |
 | When dry, remove any overhang of belt with scissors. |
 | When dry, turn the body over and glue the arms and legs to the body. The arms should be
positioned just below the eyeline. |
 | lay the wall face down on a flat surface. |
 | Apply a line of glue along the short centre line. |
 | Remove the clips from the finger sleeve and place the sleeve along the centre line of
the wall. Ensure that the bottom of the sleeve matches the bottom of the wall. and that
the remainder of the sleeve protrudes about 1 1/4" above the top of the wall. |
 | Apply clips to hold in place and allow to dry. |
 | Apply a sticky fixer on back of body shape just below the centre. |
 | When wall and sleeve are dry. Remove clips and stick the body to the top of the sleeve. |
 | Ensure that the body hangs down over the top of the wall. |
