 | Cut 6 1.5" lengths of pipe cleaner or wool for whiskers. |
 | Cut a piece of gift wrap or crepe paper aprox 7"x6" |
 | With a felt pen mark a small dot for positioning the nose. This should be just below the
centre point of the circle. |
|
 | To wrap the cardboard tube with gift wrap/crepe paper.
 | Apply a light coat of children's PVA glue to the back of the gift wrap paper and lay
down glue side up with the longest sides at top and bottom. |
 | Lie the cardboard tube flat on the paper. Making sure that the length of the tube lies
along the short length of paper. |
 | Wrap the glue covered paper around the tube. |
 | Fold in the extra length at either end. |
|
 | To attach the Whiskers and Nose.
 | Place a couple of generous blobs of glue around the position marked for the nose. |
 | Apply the six whiskers. Make sure that a small gap is left to ensure a good sticking
surface is available for the Nose. |
 | Place a generous blob of glue to the point where the nose is to go. Place the Pom-pom on
the marked point and hold down firmly for a short time. |
|
 | To attach the Eyes.
 | Place the googlie eyes on the head and move them around until you are happy with the

 | Apply PVA glue to one edge of the cardboard tube. |
 | Place the tube, sticky side down over the feet. Hold firmly for a short time. |
 | Apply a generous dab of glue to the back of the head. |
 | Apply the head to the top of the Tube. Making sure that the front of the feet are at the
same side. Hold the head in position for a short time. |
 | Place the Bunny aside and allow to dry. |
|
 | Making the cone shape for the egg. (this is necessary, as many small chocolate eggs are
a little small for the tube. Inserting the cone allows the egg to have a base.
Alternatively simply stuff the tube with tissue paper creating a base.
 | Hold the semi-circle shape (C) in one hand with the curved edge towards the palm of your
hand. |
 | Create a funnel shape by wrapping the card around itself. |
 | Make sure that the top end of the funnel is just larger than the top of the tube shape. |
 | Mark off the overlap position with a felt pen. |
 | Remove the funnel from the tube, and apply glue to the overlap. Hold and allow to dry. |
 | Place the funnel in the top of the tube. Do not stick. This will allow the removal of
the funnel later to allow the Bunny to be used as a Penholder etc. |
|
 | When dry place the Chocolate egg in the top of the tube. |
