Setacolor Soleil WHAT TO DO Preparation: Protect your working area with plastic sheeting. Avoid as much sunlight as possible in your working area. Select a working area that will allow you easy access to direct sunlight when ready. Use either a large Paint Brush or Sponge for paint application. Lightly moisten your fabric prior to applying Setacolor Soleil. Shake the Bottle well before use. Setacolor Soleil is READY TO USE. No thinning is required. Techniques: Try some of these Painting techniques on your  Painting with the Sun (Heliographic) Folds and Knots Salt Or combine all of the above with the use of Transfers or Templates. Fixing: Once the material is dry. Selecting Masks You can make your own masks using: Plastic cut-outs Leaves Branches Coins Pasta Lace In fact just about anything your imagination will allow. Painting a T-Shirt Slide a plastic bag, or thick piece of card inside the T-Shirt to ensure that you decorate only one side at a time. Washable 48hours after fixing   Folds and Knots Fold and Knot your material Soak either all or part of your fabric in the colour or colours of your choice. Leave for at least 24 hours. The design will depend upon the way you have folded and knotted your material Here are some ides to try: Screw fabric into a ball and tie up with several elastic bands. Chose a point from which you can twist your material, then tie it with elastic bands. Roll or crumple your material then tie it up.
