Eyelet lace for Knitting is a double sided slotted lace for knitting and is available in a
various colours with an edge trim colouring, as well as
multi and mixed shades. Eyelet lace is approximately 1.5" (36mm)
wide and sold by the meter length. Eyelet lace is double sided
slotted knitting lace. The lace is knitted or crochet into the knitting via
these holes. We also have a selection of patterns available for download.
Instructions:
Knit in lace by starting from the left and
placing the lace to the back of the work.
Insert the needle into the first stitch and
through the first Eyelet hole in the Lace.
Loop yarn over the needle and complete the
stitch.
Keeping the tension loose, repeat the procedure
to the end of the row and cut the lace (do not cut the wool)
HINTS AND TIPS:
To keep the lace neat at row ends. Overlap
towards you at the start and end of each row by one hole
To Join Eyelet lace simply overlap each piece by
two sets of holes
If Single Sided Eyelet lace is required, and
unavailable. Cut the lace lengthways below the holes.
