Silk Stretcher Frames for Silk Painting and Batik work

It is important to stretch your silk fabric when applying gutta or paints. This can be achieved using the traditional wooden stretcher frame with notches cut along the length of wood. You can then slot the lengths together to make a frame to fit the project. Both our JCNOTCH500 & JCNOTCH1000 are interchangeable, allowing you to use 2 long lengths and 2 short. This is ideal when painting silk ties or long scarves. The silk is then held in place using three pinned silk pins. The Easy Fix Stretcher Frames are a lightweight portable system in a handy carry bag. The Easy Fix Stretch frames allow precision sizing of the frame and come with claw stretcher hooks that allow you to stretch the silk within the frame with no overlay.
